Content | Data are essential for research: How and where can data be stored and preserved, during and after a research project? Which guidelines apply to the proper handling, long term archiving and publication of research data? This basic workshop addresses those and other questions with a special focus on humanities and social sciences. Participants will be familiarised with the basic concepts of research data management (RDM) and learn how to integrate them into their daily research processes. They will gain insights into legal frameworks and into the guidelines for safeguarding good research practice in relation to RDM. In addition, we will inform you about specific services and suitable infrastructures for handling your research data. We will focus on personal data, textual and audiovisual data. |
