From January 2021 on, important changes are planned concerning the access to the electronic resources of the University Library of Leipzig from the Intranet of Leipzig University Medicine.
Already now you can access the licensed media of the University Library from home and on the road via your university login (Uni-Login) of the University of Leipzig. This works independently from yourlocation and replaces dial-in via VPN. This login takes place on the website of the information provider and is usually called institutional login or Shibboleth.
In the courseof 2021, all licensed electronic information, journals and databasesof the University Library will be successively converted to this authentification procedure and will be accessible from your workstation in the Leipzig University Medicineexclusively via this procedure using your Uni-Login.
Please test access to the below mentioned media via your Uni-Login from home as soon as possible. The Uni-Login is different from your MRZ-Login (Windows-Login) and was communicated to you by the University Computer Center (Universitätsrechenzentrum). If you do not yet have anUni-Login, you will receive your initial access data from the University Computer Center (servicedesk@uni-leipzig.de) within the next few days by e-mail to your e-mail address @medizin.uni-leipzig.de
As a first step, starting in January 2021, you will be abletouse the service of the following providers on your workstations in the faculty or in the UKL only after entering your Uni-Login
