The holdings of the German Literature Institute (DLL) will soon be made available in the Bibliotheca Albertina. DLL location will open its doors for the last time on 10 July 2025 and the books will be moved during the summer.
No media from the DLL can be made available during this time, unfortunately. So we kindly ask for your understanding.
The books, especially the valuable collection of fiction by German and international authors in German translation, can be accessed and borrowed quickly and easily and, above all, during the opening hours of the Bibliotheca Albertina, thanks to the contiguous placement in the Albertina in a special open stacks area ‘DLL’. Books will be arranged according to subject.
The collection is constantly being expanded to include new publications.
Detailed information will be provided in autumn. All borrowed media can be returned at all other branches of Leipzig University Library.
