Due to surveying work, the area under the glass dome in the reading area on the second floor (eastern wing) of the Bibliotheca Albertina will be closed on 16 September from 8 am until approximately 6 pm. For this reason, the service desk will be closed on this day.
In addition, the monitor workstations under the glass dome, the microform readers and the lockers at the service desk will not be accessible during the work. However, interlibrary loans can be handed in to the security service.
Once the work has been completed, the affected area will be reopened.
The collections and workplaces in the corridors will remain accessible.
