Following a joint initiative by the Institute for Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies (IALT) and Leipzig University Library, a campus licence has been acquired for renowned specialist dictionaries focusing on law, economics and politics. All members of Leipzig University can fully access all these new resources.
The dictionaries are available for German, English, French and Spanish languages at www.unilexids.de/pages/search.aspx (within the university network or via VPN). These certified reference works are essential tools for specialist translation and terminology. They broaden access to the specialist languages that form the focus of teaching and research at the IALT and are therefore a great asset not only to the institute, but also to all other faculties.
