On 20 March 2026, the UBL chat team will answer enquiries via chat for the last time. After that, the service will no longer be available.
Since its launch in 2012, colleagues from all departments and sites at the LUL have been answering enquiries via our library chat service.
In the years that followed, the chat service established itself as a direct, reliable and straightforward means of contact.
Since 2023, we have seen a gradual decline in enquiries. In light of changing communication and information habits, and following a careful overall assessment of our resources, we have decided to discontinue this service.
