MathOA: Flipping mathematics journals to open access

The successful flip of the linguistics journal Lingua into its open access version Glossa has inspired mathematicians. Following the model of LingOA, MathOA has been founded in the Nehterlands, in order to emanicpate their journals and take back control over science publishing. The aim of mathOA is to support and assist existing journals in flipping to open access journals. The initiators of mathOA also announced plans to launch similar activities for other research disciplines.
