Leipzig University’s new charges and fees was introduced on 01.10.2017.
It includes the following changes to fines for overdue items borrowed from the University Library:
The new fines for each item/day are:
First 10 days €0.50 per day From 11th day €1.00 per day - The maximum total fine of €25 per overdue item remains unchanged.
- The fines set out above also apply to items on short term loan from the reference collection.
By speeding up reminder proceedings, items can be recovered more quickly for other patrons and periods of non-availability will be reduced.
