The following applies to all patrons:

There is a strong recommendation to wear a medical mouth-nose protection or an FFP2/KN95 mask without exhalation valve inside the buildings.
From Monday (13 June), designated areas will be available in selected branches where it is compulsory to wear a mouth-nose protection at the workplaces at all times (medical mask or FFP2/KN95 mask without exhalation valve).
Desks are available to all patrons of Leipzig University Library. The number of available desks has been significantly increased and free seating applies.
The Corona-Warn-App recommended by the Free State of Saxony will be used for digital contact registration QR codes for the Corona-Warn-App are provided on site.
The hygiene and infectious disease concept of the Leipzig University applies.

Order and book reservations via the catalogue
Borrowing from the reference collection. Up to 5 books for one week.
Renewals: Please renew borrowed items in your library account. Renewals are only possible if there is no recall. If you renew too late and exceed the loan period fees will be charged.
Maximum number of renewals:
Circulating collection: 6 renewals
Reference collection: 3 renewals
Issue desk for interlibrary loans. (Biblioteca Albertina: Mon.–Fri.: 8a m–8 pm, Sat.: 10 am–4 pm)
Ordering of media for reading room use for all patrons
Scanning, printing, copying is possible at all locations
Registration via our online form
Payment of fees at the automatic pay stations in the Bibliotheca Albertina, the Campus Library, the Library of Education and Sports Science and the Medicine and Science Library, in cash at Bibliotheca Albertina, the Campus Library and the Library of Education and Sports Science and Library of Veterinary Medicine
