Modern Manuscripts

With support from the Saxon State Digitization Program, the University Library is digitizing modern manuscripts from its collections. The project is ongoing.

Additional information

Leipzig University Library has around 4,200 modern manuscripts listed on manuscript shelfmarks, of which 1,100 come from the Municipal Library’s holdings and 3,100 from the University Library’s holdings. The modern manuscripts are fully cataloged in printed catalogs.
