From 13 June: Designated workplaces with mandatory masks
Since 8 June 2022, the new hygiene concept of the University of Leipzig has been in force, which means that many restrictions no longer apply. Mouth-to-nose protection is now only strongly recommended in the buildings of the university and the university library, especially where the minimum distance cannot be maintained.
However, the needs of our patrons differ. Therefore, from Monday 13 June, we will be offering workplaces where masks are mandatory in designated areas. Mandatory masking means that a medical mouth-nose protection (without exhalation valve) must be worn at all times in these areas.
