Prints of the 16th Century
Around 2,000 prints from the 16th century were digitized from the University Library’s collection for the “Register of Printed Works of the 16th Century Published in German-speaking Countries” (VD16).
The University Library is one of the libraries with large historic holdings in Germany. Its collections include around 25,000 prints from the 16th century. Of these, around 2,000 titles were digitized for the “Register of Printed Works of the 16th Century Published in German-speaking Countries” (VD16).
The prints are listed in the catalog of the University Library as well as in the catalog of the Southwestern German Library Consortium, the “Central Registry of Digitized Imprints” and the VD16.
